Tennis Teachers Conference, Aug. 22-25, New York

USPTA will be joining the USTA in hosting the Tennis Teachers Conference in New York, Aug. 22-25, instead of holding the usual World Conference. Earn education credits and network with teaching pros and industry reps from around the world. Registered attendees will receive a free grounds pass to the Monday day session of the US Open. Double points for coach youth tennis online courses

USPTA members will receive double the education credits for completing the Coach Youth Tennis online courses. The Education Committee approved a three-credit bonus for all members who complete the free CYT online courses. Once you complete the final course, you will receive your bonus credits that will bring the total to the required six credits needed for the period ending in 2016. Register now at to get started. USPTA Statement on the SSL Heartbleed Security Vulnerability

All USPTA websites are protected from the "Heartbleed" Internet bug.

USPTA takes Web security very seriously, and has audited all of its systems for the Heartbleed security vulnerability. USPTA is glad to say that none of the USPTA systems are vulnerable to Heartbleed and never were.

Education requirements

All USPTA members must complete the education requirements set by the Executive Committee. The new requirements state that every member must earn 6 education credits every three years to remain current. Click here for a complete list of eligible activities. Members will need to keep some type of verification (email, letter, certificate, receipt, etc.) that shows they attended the event/activity and submit it along with the date and agenda to to receive their credit.
