Tips for the 2014 Tennis Teachers Conference

Three reasons to enhance your retirement plan with long-term care insurance

  1. 5% discount – As a USPTA member, you and eligible family members can receive a 5% discount on an individual long-term care (LTC) insurance policy through one of the nation’s most highly respected insurance carriers.
  2. The need is real – It’s estimated that 70% of people over age 65 will require some period of ongoing assistance or supervision due to physical or cognitive impairments.
  3. The cost for care is high – The national average cost for one year in a nursing home or 24-hour home care can exceed $94,000.

Member survey

Don't forget to complete the tennis injury survey if you have not yet done so! USPTA has partnered with the physicians at Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center and the American Sports Medicine Institute to assist them in conducting the first major injury surveillance study of adult tennis-teaching professionals. Your name will not be associated with the survey and the individual responses will not be shared with the USPTA or any other third party. As a token of appreciation for your time, we will enter your email address in a drawing for a $50 gift certificate from Fromuth Tennis.
